TERMS & CONDITIONS


booking/reservation

A function will be considered confirmed once all contact and formal details have been taken. A function coordinator will confirm the booking and details.

If the booking time/date is requested by another contesting guest a deposit may be needed.

DEposit

A deposit may be requested. This may happen due to specific dates/times or if the date/time is being contested.

Cancellations

If a cancellation is made when a deposit has been taken, if notified more than 8 days notice the full deposit will be refunded.

All other cancellations within 8 days will surrender deposit.

MENU SELECTION & FINAL NUMBERS

All menus and catering selections must be confirmed within 10 days of the date of the function/event. Final numbers of guests will be collected on the Monday of the weeks event. All final numbers will be the confirmed representation of minimum numbers charged for per person catering.

CORKAGE

Corkage is available by prior arrangement with function coordinator and is at a charge of $18 per bottle.

Payment

Payments can be made prior to the day of event or on the day of via cash or card. Account charges can be arranged prior notice of event date and an invoice can be sent in which payment is to be made within 14 days post event.

Insurance

The Hahndorf Inn will not take any responsibly for injury, damage to or loss of; equipment, merchandise or personal property of the guests left on the premises prior to, during or after function.

CLEANING

General cleaning is included in the service of hosting your event. If, however, cleaning requirements are deemed excessive, additional charges will be incurred.

minimum spend

A minimum spend may be applied due to special date or circumstances. In this case the guests understands that they are responsibly to pay the full amount of minimum spend noted or a room hire fee will be incurred to the necessary amount.

allergy

Hahndorf Inn caters for most dietary and allergy needs. Though management cannot guarantee traces of allergy items present.

BEHAVIOUR & NOISE.

A code of conduct is implemented in the venues grounds in which guests are to contain noise levels and behave responsibly to apply to the Hotels License conditions.

PARKING

Parking is complimentary and subject to availability. The car park is located at the rear of the Hotel.

CLIENTS RESPONSIBILITY

Organisers of a function are responsible for any damage/breakage sustained by organisers, guests or any other attendees at the function. It is understood that the organiser will take all reasonable steps to conduct the function in an orderly manner and control the behaviour of their guests.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE

The Hahndorf Inn practices responsible service of alcohol. Any person deemed to be intoxicated will be refused service of alcohol. All minors must leave the premise by midnight. It is an offence to serve or have someone supply alcohol to a minor or intoxicated person. The Hahndorf Inn reserves the right to refuse service or to remove patrons for inappropriate or offensive behaviour.
